Daihatsu Terios 2009: Review and Photos

Daihatsu gave the Terios a mild facelift both in the exterior and interior of the vehicle. A new chrome grille replaced the plastic black grille. The high-grade model had an addition of electric front windows, central locking, rear seat head restraints, alloy wheels, roof rails and a roof-mounted rear spoiler. Mechanically, the 1.3 litre SOHC four cylinder engine fitted to the previous model had been replaced by the new 1.3 litre DOHC four cylinder engine.

The D-compact concept previews a production SUV, and shares parts--since Daihatsu is now in the Toyota fold--with another Frankfurt introduction, the latest RAV4. The as-yet unnamed vehicle will replace the aging Terios, which has been on sale since 1997. Power comes from the same newly developed 1.5-liter in-line four that'sfitted to the HVS. It drives all four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.

Power was also increased by 3 kW (4 hp). A sport version of K3-VT engine were produced on Japan in several period.The Terios however will come more cheaply, with the standard model priced at 122 million rupiah, the TX manual at 151 million, and the TX automatic at 161 million.

The Prodrive Subaru Impreza N2010 WRC price starts at 120,000 GBP and the British company says it ha introduced a financing option to enable the car to be leased over two years.

The new car can therefore be used in both national and international rally events, as it is to receive the FIA homologation in due time. According to the Prodrive press release, the Impreza N2010 car has a starting price of £120,000, with the package including “insurance and system rebuilds.”
In addition, “Prodrive has introduced a financing option to enable the car to be leased over two years with an option to buy the car at the end of the agreement.”

The New Lamborghini Murcielago 2012

Now, just in time for its golden anniversary, Lamborghini is preparing a redesigned replacement for its uplevel supercar, the Murciélago, which has been around since 2002. The new version is expected as a 2012 model arriving in calendar 2011, with the March Geneva Auto Salon in Switzerland rumored as the coming-out venue. Britain's Autocar magazine, citing a company source, says the name will likely be Jota. The late Ferruccio Lamborghini was fond of bullfighting, and most Lamborghini model names have been drawn from that sport (however obscure the connections to non-aficionados).

A speculative computer graphic published by Road & Track suggests the new architecture will also bring markedly altered proportions, with a shorter nose, a longer tail, a definite "cab-forward" profile, and a roof sharply peaked just aft of the windshield. Styling, too, should mark a clean break from today's Murciélago, with a crisp, stealth-fighter look a la the recent limited-edition Murciélago-based Reventon coupe, especially in front. Pivot-up "scissor" doors, a big-Lambo trademark since the Countach, are certain to continue. The added rear body length implies a possible speed-linked motorized spoiler as a new feature. Wheelbase looks to be stretched some 3 inches, judging by R&T's illustration, which would jibe with the magazine's forecast of a roomier cockpit.

The vehicle that was launched at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year is already a collector’s item with only 350 to be manufactured.

You might think the stunning good looks and enticing performance of the MiTo needs no such theatrics, but that's apparently not the case in Belgium. The displays, located in the country's busiest shopping centers, are captioned "Your chance to own an Alfa Romeo," and show off how affordable the car can be once all the manufacturer's incentives are applied. Makes us wish we weren't missing out on the MiTo here in the U.S.

The Mito may be the only recipient at the moment, but expect to see it rolled out across Fiat’s (and eventually, Chrysler’s) entire range in the not too distant future.Only two versions featuring this ground-breaking engine technology will be available from launch, both based on the same 1.4 Turbo engine. The 135bhp version makes it into Lusso and Veloce trims, with an on-the-road price tag of £15,165 and £16,135 respectively.

The New 2010 Saab 9-5 Car Preview

The new Saab 9-5 is a long overdue for an overhaul, with the basic mechanical underpinnings in the current model first hitting streets as far back as 1997. At launch, there will be a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel with 160 horsepower, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline unit with 220 horsepower and a range-topping 2.8-liter turbo V-6 gasoline unit with 300 horsepower on tap.

Apart from the rear hatch and likely extended wheelbase, the SportCombi will be nearly identical to the sedan. Both cars would be built at Saab’s home plant in Trollhattan, Sweden. If only GM could have also replaced the 9-3 sooner, but they let the "bread and butter" model soldier on too long without a full model change. Not sure how many people will buy a $40K all-new 9-5 under such uncertain conditions. My father had a mid-80s Saab 900 Turbo sedan that was definitely one of my favorite childhood cars.

The new Saab 9-5 car infotainment choices include a range-topping Harman Kardon 5.1 channel surround sound audio system and an 8-inch color touch screen navigation system with hard disk storage for map data and 10 GB for MP3 music files. A large center console provides storage and connections for several portable devices through USB and 3.5 mm AUX ports alongside a 12 V power outlet.

The Pagani Zonda is a very impressive car. It stands shoulder to shoulder with some of the finest Supercars in creation built by some of the most iconic Supercar makers in the world. Now it’s time to move forward and Pagani are planning on launching the all new Pagani C9 in the Autumn. Catchy name, eh? Well that’s just its Pagani code name.

But he has been talking about the C9 to Argentina’s Auto Blog (which as Horacio is Argentinian is no big surprise). He says that the new C9 is getting a custom-built Mercedes AMG 6.0 litre bi-turbo V12 delivering 700bhp and 737ft/lbs of torque. It will deliver a 0-60mph time under 3 seconds. Proper Veyron territory. The Pagani Zonda is already one of the most dramatically styled and exclusive supercars in recent production but the man behind the car, Horacio Pagani, has more ambitious plans for a new model set to enter production next year. Unlike the Zonda, which was only offered to a few select markets, the new car - internally coded the C9 – is billed as a global model.

The car’s styling will be very similar to the Zonda but its overall proportions will be smaller. Expect to see it in full production trim at next year’s Geneva Motor Show in March.

2011 Audi R4 Concept Car Revealed

Expect the R4 to keep the very good looks of the e-Tron concept but substitute the carbon fibre panels, ultra-expensive alloys and ‘Concept’ interior for something more production-like. In addition to the electric version of the R4 – which will manage 0-60mph in under 6 seconds and 124mph. The Audi R4 will be built off an all-new platform and will be a strict two-seater and will haveit’s larger sibling the R8, will have a mid-ship mounted engine. The R4 will be powered by a series of engines, but the top of them will be a V6 engine delivering arround 280-300hp.

The problem with the new R4 is that being placed between TT and R8, will cut into R8’s segment. The R4 will be more powerful than the TT (powered by a V6 engine with an output of 250 hp), but will be under the R8 that is powered by a V8 engine with an output of 412 hp.Those we’ve spoken to seem to believe that this will be the e-Tron Audi have already said will launch in 2012. But we’re not so sure. Audi have already said they see the e-Tron as a potential sub-brand, much like quattro. Which leads us to believe that there will be an R4 e-Tron and an R8 e-Tron.

The R4 will be a junior version of the R8, sort of like midget racers were to full-blown Indy roadsters back in the 50s. To go with its diminutive scale, the R4 will feature a set of drivetrains different from its R8 big brother. It’s also worth noting now that the machinations are over, and corporate parent VW now controls Porsche, it is likely that the R4 is expected to share a platform with the next-gen Porsche Boxster. Both coupe and targa versions of the R4 are expected.

The luxury roadster has now begun its winter test programme after coming to grips with heat testing. The new SLS will sport engines such as the 5.5-litre V8 with 285kW (387hp) and possibly the rumoured 400kW (544hp)-plus 4.0-litre twin turbo. These should be mated to a 7-speed automatic as standard. We might even see a hybrid powertrain adapted from the Mercedes S400 Hybrid. Sales will begin sometime in 2012.

The LP570-4 Superleggera is the latest variant of the Lamborghini Gallardo which is scheduled to be unveiled at the upcoming 2010 Geneva Auto Show.

The rendering, we are informed by our esteemed and trusted colleagues over at Teamspeed.com, is based on reliable info of what the Superleggera will actually look like once it makes it debut at the Geneva auto show in March. Lamborghini is on the verge of rolling out a whole new line-up. If the Estoque gets the green light, it will be the first. The reveal of the replacement for the Murcielago is imminent, and I'm pretty sure that it has been confirmed that a new Gallardo is coming as well. I'm predicting that by the summer of this year, Lamborghini's future will be open to the world. You can hold me to it.

2011 Land Rover Discovery 4 Top of The Class

Land Rover has been launched the new version of The Land Rover Discovery 4. An upgrade version of its successor Land Rover Discovery 3.

As ever, the big Brit looks just as at home in a farmer’s field as it does outside a posh hotel Buyers get the choice of three trim levels – GS, XS and HSE. Externally there’s little to separate the models, although the entry-level 2.7-litre GS gets 18-inch alloys in place of the 19-inch items on other versions. There was always something endearing about older Land Rover Discovery models. On virtually any objective calculation, they were way off the pace but the way they managed to triumph over considerable adversity was almost Shackletonesque. The third row folds into the boot floor when not needed, leaving a useful 1,192 carrying capacity. Land Rover’s designers have been at work inside, with a revised dashboard, instruments, switchgear and steering wheel. All models come loaded with standard kit, including climate control, a heated windscreen and air suspension.

2011 Land Rover Discovery 4 only two engines are available – the existing 2.7-litre V6 twin turbo diesel and new, more powerful 3.0-litre version. The smaller unit is only available in the entry-level GS and is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, while all other versions get the larger powerplant and smooth shifting six-ratio automatic transmission. What is most striking about the Discovery is its supple ride. The combination of air-suspension and a 2.5 ton kerbweight allows the Land Rover to steamroller even the poorest road surfaces. A few of the features of the new Land Rover Discovery 4 include a surround camera system, gradient release, tow assist, high beam assist and Keyless Entry.

This is Citroen's C-Crosser SUV with a new double-clutch gearbox - offering buyers the choice of an automatic. Unlike a standard auto, though, the DCS (double clutch system) is essentially a manual gearbox with no clutch pedal.Citroen C-Crosser will be available in July, the C-Crosser will be pitched headlong into the ultra-competitive compact soft-roader sec-tor - but will it get a grip on sales success or slip out of contention?

The Citroen C-Crosser DCS gearbox is excellent. It works smoothly and efficiently in automatic mode and the driver only has to tug on one of the paddles - one for up shifts and the other for downchanges - and the gearbox reacts instantly.

The Citroen C-Crosser features the trademark large double chevron grille and big wraparound headlights. An aluminium finish has been applied to the side sills and roof rails to complete the rugged, all-weather look. One thing that sets the Citroen apart from the Mitsubishi is its engine. The smooth new 2.2-litre diesel unit is expected to be a firm favourite with compact SUV buyers, and it doesn't take you long behind the wheel to see why. In the UK, only two trim levels will be offered - VTR+ and Exclusive. Both come generously equipped and will no doubt be subject to traditional Citroen dealer offers soon after hitting showrooms. List prices range from £22,790 to £25,490, with the strong 2.2-litre diesel the sole engine option.

2011 Toyota FT-86 G Sports Concept First Look

First up is a G Sports Concept version of the already concept Toyota FT-86, the Toyota and Subaru joint venture for an affordable sport car which has been dubbed the Toybaru. But this FT-86 gets a body treatment which includes a wider nose and big wheel arches, a carbon fibre bonnet with vents and a much bigger spoiler bolted on the back. Under the bonnet the 2.0 litre Boxer four gets a turbo added to give more power, but Toyota aren’t saying what. Best guess is somewhere north of 300bhp if you use the top end Impreza as a guide. Should make the FT-86 pick up its skirts and scoot, but doesn’t really fit in with the ethos of an ‘affordable’ sports car, which is what the FT-86 is designed to be.

The FT-86 G-Sports Concept features a sports suspension, new aerodynamic elements, lots of carbon fiber trim, and race-style Recaro seats in addition to its most intriguing feature--a turbocharged version of the 2.0-liter flat four found in the regular FT-86 Concept. The high-performance engine sends power to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual. The Toyota FT-86 Concept was originally revealed at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show as a 2 + 2 coupe powered by a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated flat four. The non-turbocharged engine was said to have been chosen for its light weight and lower cost. The car is expected to head to production in late 2011 in Japan, with subsequent market roll-outs to follow, priced around the $25,000 mark.

The base vehicle of the G’s series is equipped with internal and external components that include sports suspension, aerodynamic parts and racing-style seats. A special focus has been placed on “driving seasoning” to make handling fun, through fine-tuning carried out by the GAZOO Racing test drivers who drove the Lexus “LF-A” in the 24 Hours Nürburgring race in Germany and developed the “iQ”-based “GAZOO Racing tuned by MN” (GRMN).

Audi is showing an uncompromising purist compact sports car with all-electric drive at the 2010 NAIAS. The Detroit Audi e-tron Concept is 3.93 meter (154.72 in) long and 1.78 meter (70.08 in) wide but just 1.22 meter (48.03 in) tall two-seater. As previously with the first Audi e-tron Concept car shown in Frankfurt, Audi again bases all components in this electric vehicle on an integral concept with many revolutionary details: a heat pump as an efficient means of heating up and maintaining the interior temperature. The drive system, power electronics and battery have innovative thermal management - crucial for maintaining a high operating range coupled with outstanding interior comfort.

Systematic lightweight construction is an even more important prerequisite for efficiency and range with electric vehicles than for conventionally powered automobiles. Lightweight construction is moreover the key to thrilling handling characteristics. Audi developers focused on a core competence of the company when creating the Detroit Audi e-tron Concept: The body structure is based on Audi Space Frame technology (ASF), with a hybrid design approach adopted.

While acknowledging that electric vehicles are still far from economically viable volume production vehicles, Audi is nonetheless working on electric technology, both for hybrids and pure EVs. The pack sports a 53kWh capacity of which 42.4 kWh is usable. The pack weighs in at 1,036 pounds out of a total vehicle weight of 3,527 pounds and is mounted ahead of the rear axle and liquid cooled.

Audi has taken a new and in some cases revolutionary approach to many of the technical modules. A heat pump is used to efficiently warm up and heat the interior. The drive system, the power electronics and the battery are controlled by an innovative thermal management system that is a crucial component for achieving the car's range without compromising its high level of interior comfort. Networking the vehicle electronics with the surroundings, which is referred to as car-to-x communication, opens new dimensions for the optimization of efficiency, safety and convenience.

Along with a reworked interior, a new heat pump to boost efficiency and adaptive headlamps that modify their brightness and direction based on weather and steering input. Naturally, Quattro is part of the package, with the torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive system splitting the power 40:60 front-to-rear.

Acura RDX 2010 Luxury sport car review and specification

This vehicle drives nice and offers decent performance. However, the build to quality is poor. I have developed several rattles in areas of the car. The leather is cheap and should be better. Gas mpg is now in the mid 22's after a year of ownership. The sound system is excellent. Wish there was a better choice when I bought it. The BMW x3 was too small and Mercedes and Audi didn't have there small crossover available

For a small premium SUV this beats the others by a mile. I considered the BMW X3 as the alternative.
This is the best drive I've had - very comfortable seats, the turbo kicks in just when you need it, everything is beautifully designed and placed well. The technology is intuitive and easy to use.

Upon introduction, the 5-Spd AT is equipped with a standard 2.3-liter, I4, 240-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 24-mpg on the highway. The 5-Spd AT SH-AWD w/ Technology Package is equipped with a standard 2.3-liter, I4, 240-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 22-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.

Standard feature highlights include stability control, leather seating, heated seats, xenon headlights and a 260-watt audio system with a six-CD changer. The engine gives the crossover an energetic feel, but it comes across as a bit spastic. Acura’s Super Handling AWD is also standard and does a good job handling the frenetic power of the turbo engine. Turbo lag is evident, and when it does kick in, it comes on strong, making it difficult to modulate the power. One advantage of a turbocharged engine, at least in EPA estimates, is better fuel economy with ratings of 19 mpg city, 24 mpg highway. TheCarConnection.com notes that those ratings are quite optimistic, however, and most drivers will see figures in the upper teens.

The Suzuki Equator is the first midsize pickup truck ever offered by suzuki. Developed in conjunction with Nissan and based on the Nissan Frontier, the Equator made its debut at the 2008 Chicago Auto Show. Design elements separate the Equator from the Nissan with Suzuki elements in the hood, front fenders, grille, bumpers, front fascia and tailgate. Suzuki expects the Equator to be a perfect companion to the brand's power sports products, including ATVs, motorcycles and Suzuki-powered boats.

Upon introduction, the Base 4X2 is equipped with a standard 4.0-liter, V6, 261-horsepower engine that achieves 15-mpg in the city and 20-mpg on the highway. The RMZ 4X4 is equipped with a standard 4.0-liter, V6, 261-horsepower engine that achieves 15-mpg in the city and 19-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.

Suzuki's timing is perfect. Compact pickups have left the building and the full-sized bruisers are practically unsalable because of the expensive gasoline they guzzle. So those who really want or need a truck are herding towards the mid-size category. Like the Frontier, the Equator lives at the XX end of the midsize range with major components shared with Nissan big kahuna Titan. But with no V-8 under the hood, respectable gas mileage is possible. All Equators carry a 20-mpg or better EPA highway mileage rating and the most accomplished fuel sipper in the lineup clocks in at 19 mpg in city driving.

The new Suzuki Equator is the company's first foray into the truck market. It is based on the Nissan Frontier, but Suzuki did a nice job updating the exterior styling by adding a bold new grille. I had the opportunity to drive the Equator in the snow, and it had great traction and confident handling on the ice as well. The truck bed also had an integrated rail system to tie down cargo. Towing capacity is a healthy 6,500 pounds, which is more than enough for most tasks. However, the brake pedal felt mushy and required more effort to get the truck slowed down. The Crew Cab turning radius is large, but that is to be expected. Inside the truck, the fit and finish were nice, and all the controls were easy to use and understand. However, headroom felt tight in rear cab.

Two body styles are offered: a longish two-door called Extended Cab and a slightly squished four-door called Crew Cab. The smaller Equator rides on a 125.9-inch wheelbase and comes standard with a 6-foot bed. The Crew version rides on a 139.8-inch wheelbase with the long bed or the shorter wheelbase with a 5-foot bed. The powertrain choices include a 152-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder base engine and a 261-horsepower 4.0-liter V-6, both with five-speed transmissions. While the four-cylinder can be mated to a manual or automatic gearbox, all V-6s are automatic equipped. The optional 4WD system is a dual-range, shift-on-the-fly design. While two trim levels are available, leather upholstery is not in the Equator game plan. A spray-in bedliner is standard and a handy cargo-tie-down system is optional.

The convertible Lotus Elise 2009, The super-quick midengined roadster

This lightweight midengined roadster is super-quick. Power comes from a high-revving four-cylinder from Toyota. The interior is spartan and the cabin is difficult to access. Cornering limits are very high, but the car is hard to control once past them. The Exige is a more powerful coupe version of the Elise.

I like this car because it is efficient and it rides smoothly. It is great to pick up friends in and it is very comfortable inside to the point where I feel liek driving it every single day for the rest of my life byotch.

Upon introduction, the Convertible is equipped with a standard 1.8-liter, I4, 189-horsepower engine that achieves 21-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway. The Convertible SC is equipped with a standard 1.8-liter, I4, 218-horsepower, supercharged engine that achieves 20-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.

The Lotus Elise is a two-seat midengine roadster available in one trim level. The interior is understandably spartan, and the standard air-conditioning can be deleted to save even more weight. Power for the Lotus Elise comes from a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The Toyota-sourced engine benefits from Lotus-designed intake and exhaust components and a tweaked engine controller. The result is a broader power band and an increase in output to 189 hp at 7,800 rpm and 133 pound-feet of torque at 6,800 rpm. Should the standard Elise be inadequate, there's always the supercharged Elise SC, boasting a 218-hp version of the standard Elise's engine.

As far as safety equipment, don't expect much more than federally mandated items -- antilock brakes are included and traction control is optional, but neither stability control nor side airbags are offered.

Forget what you hear about "getting in" or "getting out" problems, nothing feels like a Lotus once you are in. This is a car for those you love Formula 1 (acceleration, ability to make sharp turns at high speeds) and not Nascar (muscle cars).
I have not regreted purchasing this car. No matter what kind of day of week you had, the weekend is great when you drive this car.

Below is the reviews and general specification of BMW 1 Series Coupe. An amazing car by BMW. The 1-Series is BMW’s new 4-seat performance coupe that BMW describes as inspired by the legendary BMW 2002 from the 1960s. The 1-Series features rear-wheel-drive dynamics, agile handling, and powerful engines. The 1-Series convertible followed the early 2008 introduction of the coupe but no plans have been announced to import the 5-door hatchback sold in Europe.

First, the gas mileage improves after the first 2500miles. I am heavy on the gas and get over 28.5mpg consistently on the highway with plenty of accelerations!
Second, the drive and feel of the car is incredible. I have driven so many different fast cars and this car would hold its own in acceleration and handling against the best of them. No car under at this price point or below would be able to outrun you; throw in some curves, and the other car might as well not even try. 0-60 is easy 4.7 sec or faster and the real speed comes at about 3500rpm in 3rd all the way through 6th gear. The car just pulls forever!
Sexy exterior, and for a totally non luxury, sports coupe, the interior is more than good enough.

I have a 2005 Ascender 4WD that was bought new. It has 16000 miles on it and we love it. It is essentially an Envoy without paying 10000 more. I have towed trailers long distances, gone camping, family vacations and not one hickup. We don't live far from work or shopping so any miles we have are from the above three things. We have 5 children and we all fit and the kids are comfortable. Best vehicle I have ever bought and I have owned over 10 vehicles.

Toyota has launched it newest a 4-door, up to 8-passenger sport-utility, available in 11 trims, ranging from the SR5 4.6L 4X2 to the Platinum 4X4 FFV. Its Toyota Sequoia 2010.

Upon introduction, the SR5 4.6L 4X2 is equipped with a standard 4.6-liter, V8, 310-horsepower engine that achieves 14-mpg in the city and 19-mpg on the highway. The Platinum 4X4 FFV is equipped with a standard 5.7-liter, V8, 381-horsepower, flexible fuel engine that achieves 13-mpg in the city and 18-mpg on the highway. The comfort of the ride is great in the new Toyota Sequoia. You know you're driving and with radar cruise it makes for easy highway driving or ini the jungle. I think the Navigation system is a breeze to use. The low fuel light is out of sight, but just hit the info button after setting the cruise and leave up the miles to empty. You can clearly see when you are getting low. The second row is just as comfortable as the first. Heated, sliding and reclining seats make for a great ride. Not to mention you have a household outlet for plugging in your laptop or game as you ride. The window have privacy shades built into the door so you can put them up and down whenever you want.

The only real con I can see is the headroom in the first row. I'm 5'10" and have about 4" of clearance. Somebody a little taller might not feel comfortable having their head so close to the roof of the truck. I had about 8" headroom on the 04 Sequoia.

For auto enthusiasts, more power is always a good thing, so plugging a 280-horsepower V6 into the sporty Acura TSX sure seems like a good idea. But that's a lot of power to put through the front wheels. Even gentle acceleration resulted in wheel spin, so launching the car from a standstill takes some getting used to. But once you're in motion, this car really moves.

The automatic transmission (the only option with the V6) works well, shifting quickly and smoothly, and that engine sounds great when the revs hit 4000 rpm. But the extra 200 pounds the larger engine adds are noticeable — understeer is considerable when going into a fast corner, much more so than in the more agile 4-cylinder TSX. Being an Acura, the interior is nicely done, with stylish leather seats and premium materials; however, I found the rear seat to be rather cramped. The TSX V6 is fast, but I wouldn't exactly call it fun to drive, and with a price of around $38,000, it would be hard to justify

The only real thing I dont like is how the interior scratches way to easy, need a hard finish. Love going down the road and getting the looks and finger pointing. Walking up to my vehicle and people are looking in it as though they would be looking to buy it LOL, even had someone asked if they could sit in it.

The ergonomics of V8 Vantage are startlingly not good. The display on the entertainment unit is tiny and impossible to read in anything but total darkness. You cannot tell what radio station you're on, what the A/C is set to, etc., even with the top up. The GPS system is probably the worst I've ever seen (it's the Volvo nav unit). The menu system on the nav system and just about everything else in the car is so complicated that you pretty much have to pull the car over and stop in order to do anything. The displays and buttons that you'd use most often are in locations that make it impossible to drive and use them at the same time because you have to take your eyes completely off the road.

• High-lift cam for increased torque.

• Throttle body intake funnels, though longer than what the SV650 used, are two different lengths for improved mid-range.

• Idle Speed Control (ISC) system integrated into throttle body –first ever on any Suzuki street bike– improves idle, cold starting and eliminates additional wiring and hoses. The same 10-hole fuel injectors used on the GSX-R600 and 750 offer better atomization of fuel mixture. Two Iridium-tip spark plugs per cylinder complete the package for more thorough, consistent combustion which in turn is claimed to lead to better economy, emissions, power, etc.

As was introduced, Honda Fit 2010 are equipped with a standard 1.5-liter, I4, 117-horsepower engine that achieves 27-mpg in the city and 33-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard on the 5-Spd MT. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on the Sport 5-Spd AT w/ Navigation System.

The 2010 Fit is a 4-door, family sedan, or city sedan. Fit 2010 available in 6 trims, ranging from the 5-Spd MT to the Sport 5-Spd AT w/ Navigation System.

Honda Fit 2010 is very easy to speed! Cant tell when youre going over 40! Small car but seems bigger when inside. Like that back seats fold down, or up for tall floor board items such as plants. Still have spacy trunk space, way more than hybrid cars. Honda has a great warranty that I can vouch for. Plus my dealership gives free towing package,so dont have to buy AAA. I would recommend a different material for seats, even leather, since every piece of lint sticks to the seats. Also no vents in back, but A/C works ok as long as you are driving. Honda needs to put tilt steering since I cant see the speedometer, which is not good. Overall, very satisfied.

KTM 690 Enduro R 2010 review and specification

The 690 Enduro R, KTM has created a hard Enduro bike for the 21st century. Unbeatable power, even better ridability, perfect technology and a thoroughbred off-road chassis make this bike an all-rounder with phenomenal Enduro qualities and extremely solid street riding behaviour. This Endura 690 R is the best bike I ever ride.

On paper the KTM just seemed a better option albeit a bit more pricey, especially the fact that the R version had more of an off-road bias. The BMW 650 X has been discontinued here in South Africa and the 450 was just too small for me.
After taking delivery I fitted a decent bash plate and Akropovic pipe. On day one a did about 250km of which half was a combination of very rocky paths up a mountain pass with some mud thrown in towards the bottom of the pass.
I felt like an absolute hooligan. The KTM was totally at home in the rough. The suspension was set a bit too hard and the bike bounced quite a bit up the rocks. I still need to figure out how to optimally configure the suspension. Otherwise the balance and handling was impressive. I never felt out of control – like I do on my sons CR250.

On the open road heading back home it easily managed 140km/h plus. But, without a decent screen, I can’t say it’s comfortable, the R version has NO screen.
At 100 to 120km/h it was fine. I was alarmed at how unstable the steering could get at high speed. I will definitely need to fit a stabilizer. I’m sure the off-road tyres play a big role in the lack of stability. The R comes standard with knobblies.
Everything else on the bike, the layout, controls, finish and general assembly is stunning.

The 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan is a four-door, five-seat vehicle that comes in either Sport or Luxury trims. The new sheetmetal that adorns the E-Class is still recognizable as a Mercedes, but the latest mid-size sedan has clearly evolved from the previous generation. Car and Driver reports that for 2010, the E-Class lineup is "thoroughly redone," with styling changes that include "four parallelogram-shaped lamps that look unique but still make sense on an E-Class." Motor Trend isn't quite as impressed, asserting that the E-Class 2010's "design sits somewhere between crisp and boxy, with a bluff front end desperate (almost too desperate) to imply status." Cars.com thinks some elements are at odds, noting the "eyebrow-like fog lights sit in the three-piece lower air dam," while, "in comparison, the taillights seem much more reserved." The 2010 Mazda 5 is largely unchanged. Mazda 5 is based on the front-wheel-drive 2004-2009 generation Mazda 3 compact car, but has a longer, taller body with seating for six, minivan-style sliding rear-side doors, and a one-piece liftgate. Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring versions are available. All have a 153-hp 2.3-liter 4-cylinder engine. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard on Sport. 2010 Accord Crosstour SUV short car review

Honda Accord has a new family. Its 2010 Accord Cross tour SUV. This car is will be released for the first time in United states. As seen on this prototype, the CUV’s front end will clearly be similar to that of the four-door Accord, although we can tell there has been some butching-up of the graphic elements beneath the thick tarps. A side swoosh similar to the Accord sedan’s passes through door handles borrowed from that model. Where the Crosstour really goes its own way, however, is aft of the B-pillar, where the window line rises to a point and the rear end slopes down to form a hatchback. The shape of the rear end appears to have necessitated the addition of a second, Insight-esque lower rear window to salvage some outward vision.

got it at Off Lease Only with 19k miles and let me tell you. I have owned Cobra's and Vette's and Rx-8 and I have to say this ride is sweet!!!! Yes the others have bigger Engines cheaper in price etc etc but come on the Warrantee is untill 50k miles or 7-2010 I couldnt go wrong. Storage is no problem it's a 2 seater I have an Explorer for hauling and an Acura RL for a sedan. This is my FUN car and it meats and excedes my expectations.

This was just about the nicest looking car I have ever owned. It was also the most unreliable car I have owned to the point that I only drove it near my home in the case that it broke down. God knows that it broke down often. Frequently I kept the car in my garage and did not bother to take it to be repaired. The problems started just a few days after the car was purchased. It was mostly in the shop the first few months I owned the car. I was very happy when I got rid of it and took a huge financial loss. My experience with this car is from two years ago. The newer models may be more reliable

Upon introduction, the DE is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 152-horsepower engine that achieves 22-mpg in the city and 30-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a variable speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional. The Ralliart is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 237-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard.

Recaro seats are comfortable but there is NO six way setting. That really makes no sense. MPG is not very good. 23 to 24 is the best I can do but with a Turbo it is tough not putting my foot into it, very fast for a 2.0 with turbo. Lots of room for 4 adults to sit comfortably. Lots of shary edges on the steel stampings and tinny doors. I guess for the $$$$ a good purchase. We will see how in holds up.
Good engine & transmission performance, fair price with good rebates and a 10 year/100,000 mile warranty for a Japanese car company. I believe that the 92 years experience of Mitsubishi shows in their cars and carmaking performance abilities.

The inside of the 2009 HUMMER H3T is purposefully styled, but unfortunately it lacks the visual impact of the exterior. Edmunds calls the "overall design ... fairly handsome" but notes that the HUMMER H3T's "rather plain interior doesn't quite match its macho exterior." On the positive side, Jalopnik reports that "the instrument panel lighting is attractive and easy to read." One styling cue that is rather unique to the HUMMER H3T and other HUMMER trucks is what Autoblog describes as a "quirky rear-view camera" that displays its image "directly on the left side" of the rearview mirror face, which they say is "a much more graceful arrangement than the previous pop-out version."

Upon introduction, the Base is equipped with a standard 3.7-liter, I5, 239-horsepower engine that achieves 14-mpg in the city and 18-mpg on the highway. 2009 Toyota Land Cruiser

Upon introduction, the Land Cruiser is equipped with a standard 5.7-liter, V8, 381-horsepower engine that achieves 13-mpg in the city and 18-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
Car is generally very good with very reasonable maintenence and service costs are pretty cheap. Didnt like the brake light so put lexus brake lights from the accesories shop. one thing about this car is the accesories you can put. it really makes the car a head turner.
But its almost as expensive as a bmw X5, lexus models, merc models. so sometimes you just have to make up your mind. But if you want a all rounder car then this is generally the best choice. I tested almost all cars in this price range including GMC Yukon, Chevy Tahoe, Merc ML, BMW X5, Cadillac Escallade EXT, Nissan Patrol safari. I previously owned a Porsche Cayyenne Turbo 'S' & i must say that i dont miss any featured in my new 'VXR'. Excellent features but ofcourse the performance could be better.... But overall a perfect choice.

I enjoy taking it to the beach, no better beach vehicle out there in my opinion. Load it up with all your stuff including surf board on top with special roof racks. Bicycles roll in standing up without having to take anything apart. Great for a business car as well, moved 30 by 60 desks from one location to another and can close the tail gate behind it. Plenty of room for moving file boxes from one location to another. I find the car confortable and I like the look of it, they say beauty is in the beholder. Oh did I say I love the tail gate, have had many enjoyable lunches sitting on my tail gate.

The ride is similar to the Accords because of engine/power.Does lack some of the features the Accord had, but i guess that is to be expected. I've only had it for less than a week, and i have already made the transition over from car to small suv. if your interested in buying one, test drive it! you got nothing to lose. Honda needs to put A/C vents in the back and make the front seats better for long
trip travel. Otherwise this is the perfect vehicle for any size family
to use as a primary vehicle or a secondary car. The styleing is
best of all SUV's.

The folding metal roof has to go somewhere when the top's down, and this means rear-seat and boot space are compromised compared with the coupe. Prices are high.

The handling is great and overall feel on smooth roads is as if you were floating. The new body style turns heads and the "dot" headlamps are really cool. The stock rims are faily plain but look good when they're clean I guess.

The only complaints, if you can call them complaints, are the learning curve on driving w/ a 4-cyl Turbo compared to my last car (6-cyl) and the ride can be rough on a non-perfect freeway surface. The turbo is operated by the exhaust from the vehicle which supplies the turbo "boost" to the engine, which means you have to get the engine going BEFORE the power is there. That means the car can be sluggish from start but then "jump" forward when the turbo kicks in, but with a little time behind the wheel you get used to it. Good acceleration at speed but a little slow for the first few mph's.

It is an easygoing rider with plenty of power to have fun, perfect for the mid sized rider (your feet touch the ground), get your speed fix, excellent handling, a more upright siting position than sport bikes, heated grips, Anti-Lock brakes (they do make a difference) and a very comfortable ride with stellar handling and balance. This bike will give you the vibes of a Sport bike with the comfort of a Tourer. Low maintenance belt drive is a bonus. Excellent for those of us who are outgrowing the Japanese Sport Bikes and want more quality and a more satisfying riding experience (especially if you are going to hit 5 hour weekend rides through the mountains or deserts of the southwest).

This BIke is not built for the Lap Record and should not be compared to other "sport bikes" that may look similar but are built for speed, not comfort and speed, So if you are looking for the fastest bike, this is not it. Its 85 hp output is plenty of power for most any discriminating rider, unless you are a racer or want to be on the track. This bike will easily cruise at high speeds and tops off in the 124 mph range. Its all electronic with display, mpg, distance til empty, trip meter, temperature, gear, etc. I would highly recommend this motorcycle to anyone , new rider or seasoned.

The ride is a little stiff in the city, but on the open road it shows it's true ride. Very smooth and the curb to curb handling is very good. We like the vision out of the windshield, and my wife thought going in that the drivability would be much like a Expedition or Tahoe, but it truly handles more like a mid- small SUV. Access to the V6 under the hood is exspansive and thr rear liftgate gives easy access to the rear cargo area with gate open or with the liftgate glass. The rear end collision avoidance system is a great feature. Sirius Satellite Radio is wonderful and the sound system provides all the sound we need. The best thing we like though is the interior soundproofing. Road noise is very low and beats any Ford or GMC we previously owned. Jeep's reliability is was sold us, and the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty is a big seller item. Overall, we enjoy the vehicle the best of any previous SUV that we have owned. Resale value is not a concern as we intend to own this one for quite a while. I give this one 4.5 stars out of 5. We feel that the value for the money is very good, and we reccomend the Commander as a good buy.

I recently rented a 2008 Camry and I would like to compare the 09 Galant to that Camry. The Mitsu blows the Camry out of the water. I felt that the Camry had more road noise while driving at highway speeds. I also liked the sport cloth of the Galant much more than I liked the cloth on the Camry. Plus, the Galant is heated cloth. Overall, the interior was nicer on the Galant. Even the rubber dash looked better than the Camry's dash, It would just harder to clean. The brakes were much more responsive and effective on the Galant. I also found the Galant's sound system to be much nicer. The two didn't vary greatly in engine performance. However I do like the fact that a Galant is a 5 spd vs the 4 speed Camry.

The only time the car has let me down is when the ignition key lost recognition of the car and I could not start the car?this happened twice and the second dealer found a lose wire in the steering column, since then no problems with the car. Areas of the car I would improve if I could?
1. The steering radius is not tight enough ? it takes way too much space to turn the car in a circle or to make a U-turn.
2. The driving ?for me- would be more comfortable with a telescoping steering wheel. Wheel adjusts up and down but not in and out.
3. The satellite system is easy to operate however the maps have to be loaded to a CD changer in the trunk and are two to three years behind new construction and are very costly to up-date

The first thing you’ll notice is its remarkable physical presence - in fact , when you first see this radically-styled new 125 it’s hard to believe that you’re not looking at a much larger capacity bike! Power is supplied by a punchy fuel-injected liquid-cooled 4-stroke 4-valve SOHC single cylinder engine which kicks out plenty of high rpm power for great performance on city streets and twisty back roads. Driving the TT is the best part of the car. By using aluminum in the chassis, Audi were able to keep the TT light - despite the additional luxury bits. This chassis allows the TT to be very stiff - resulting in the power being put down so efficiently that you'll swear it's a more powerful car. Add to that the speed of the S-Tronic transmission and you end up with a car that can accelerate faster than the manual-equipped competition.
The steering sacrifices initial feel for a trick power steering system that makes the steering lighter at slower speeds. You'll hate it on a hairpin, but love it every time you have to park. Additionally, the car has a strong tendency to squat mid-corner. When you turn in sharply, the front end bites well. Then, as you begin to power-on, the car goes worryingly light for a moment, before squatting down and pulling itself from the corner. It takes some getting used to, but once you trust that it's not going to fly off while you transition through the corner, it's a very competent sports car.

At first our milage was not as expected. We were told to give it a 1000 miles. Now with a bit of gentle driving we get 40 mph on the highway. We were pleased with the milage on our 2002 Intrepid (32 highway mpg). The Honda goes the same distance on a tank of gas (11 gallons) that the Intrepid travels on a tank (16 gallons). The Honda is a nice road car. It is comfortable and we know we'll get to where we're going without any trouble. We believe it was a great investment
Handling is amazing, and so is braking and accelaration. In my opinion appearance looks good. Build quility is one of the best in its class. Car looks good, drives good, feels good and is comfortable. Can't really find something i really don't like about this car. Only thing is road noise but it is a small car. Also wont win any races, but will save you money cause its so efficient. One of the best car out there. Would definitely reccomend this car to anyone who is looking for a car in this class.

Upon introduction, the 612 is equipped with a standard 6.0-liter, V12, 540-horsepower engine that achieves 9-mpg in the city and 16-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.

With the 2009 edition, the company left most aspects of the 612 alone, but added a couple of quick updates. They won't likely alter that 612's nondescript feel, but is may make the experience of driving one more Ferrari-like by increment. Like the current model, the 2009 612 is powered by a 5.7-liter V12 producing 532 horsepower and 434 lb-ft of torque. New for next year include updated "Manettino" switch. That's the finagler of the 612's driving dynamics, by way of pre-set combinations of transmission, power output and traction control settings ("Ice," "Low Grip," "Sport," "Race," and "Off). It also gets a modified F1 semiautomatic gearbox, which the company says will provide faster upshifts and those luscious throttle blips for rev matching on downshifts.

This is without a doubt a fun vehicle to drive. Performance is great.I have finally learned 30k miles later to not use this as a daily driver. Too much wear and tear. Tire replacement cost is very high. Although the maintenance schedule is also pricey, I strongly recommend that it be followed-it will save you from problems later. Low trade in values prevent me from getting a newer one but this vehicle runs great. I have an 07
This vehicle really can go anywhere. I've taken it coast to coast and border to border (35K miles in 6 months). I've been offroading in a dozen states so far, not a single issue. Only maintenance to date has been fluid changes and the scheduled tune up. Excellent in snow, mud, water. Great highway manners, awesome power in the HEMI, best handling Jeep to date. Brakes are top notch (rotor issues of previous generations are gone). Lifetime warranty cannot be beaten, and it can be extended to lifetime bumper to bumper protection.
For those who want pure performance, check out the 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, a rip-roaring on-pavement-only edition with a monster 6.1-liter HEMI rated at 420 hp. Kelley Blue Book rates the SRT8 at "zero to sixty in FIVE seconds on wet or dry pavement" and at 0-100 and back to zero in 19 seconds—impressive for a 4,700-pound sport-utility vehicle. Car and Driver notes "thrill-seekers will go for the SRT8, which makes up in performance what it lacks in practicality," adding that this performance-oriented model "can tow only 3500 pounds."
