Hyundai Accent 2010 Review and Specification

The Hyundai Accent offers basic transportation in sedan or a two-door hatchback. The ride is relatively quiet, fast and compliant. It is powered by a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine. Standard curtain air bags is a positive, but it may be hard to find a model with ABS.

The 2010 Hyundai Accent equipped with engine, transmission, tire pressure, powertrain management system and power steering pump updates for improved fuel efficiency, resulting in an EPA rating of 35 mpg highway when equipped with automatic transmission. The starting price of the Accent GS 3-door has been reduced to $9,970 without reducing any of the standard features that include a 110-horspower 1.6-liter engine, power steering, advanced front airbags, front seat-mounted side-impact airbags, roof-mounted curtain airbags, tire pressure monitoring system, front variable intermittent wipers, 60/40 split fold-down rear seat, 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, adjustable head restraints for all seating positions and rear spoiler.

However, it won't be easy for GLS buyers to bypass the $1,500 Premium Sport Package because it contains air conditioning, power windows and door locks, remote keyless entry, heated power mirrors and wider (55-series) tires on 15-inch alloy wheels. (Air conditioning is a stand-alone $800 option.)
