The 2009 Eclipse Spyder is a 2-door, 4-passenger convertible, or convertible sports car, available in two trims, the GS and the GT.

Upon introduction, the GS is equipped with a standard 2.4-liter, I4, 162-horsepower engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional. The GT is equipped with a standard 3.8-liter, V6, 265-horsepower engine that achieves 16-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.

I don't have the 2009 edition but I did purchase the 2008 and we shopped for months for a small convertible. We looked at the Sky because it is a beautifully designed car but no truck or storage and we can carry kids, golf clubs, groceries, and two Schnauzers. Love the way the car handles and looks and the top is up and down in seconds with you in the seat pushing a button. Good gas mileage about 22mpg around town. This car has gotten more compliments and head turns from all ages. This happens to be my midlife crisis car and I love it!!!!!!
