Isuzu Ascender 2008 is a carryover from 2007. The 2008 Ascender is a 4-door, 5-passenger sport-utility, available in two trims, the S 2WD and the S 4WD.
There are 2 trims available and both trims are equipped with a standard 4.2-liter, I6, 285-horsepower engine that achieves 14-mpg in the city and 20-mpg on the highway. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
I have a 2005 Ascender 4WD that was bought new. It has 16000 miles on it and we love it. It is essentially an Envoy without paying 10000 more. I have towed trailers long distances, gone camping, family vacations and not one hickup. We don't live far from work or shopping so any miles we have are from the above three things. We have 5 children and we all fit and the kids are comfortable. Best vehicle I have ever bought and I have owned over 10 vehicles.
