Saab 9-3 SportCombi 2010 First Review

Saab-9-3-SportCombi2010_2This is the new midsize car from Saab, its 9-3 SportCombi 2010. The 2010 9-3 SportCombi is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury wagon, available in 3 trims.
The FWD is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 210-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 21-mpg in the city and 31-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 5-speed automatic transmission is optional. The Aero is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 210-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission is standard.

The 9-3 SportCombi is Saab’s premium midsize wagon that joined the 9-3 lineup for 2006. Saab has a long tradition of 5-door models that began in 1959 with the Saab 95 Wagon. The 9-3 sport sedan debuted as a 1999 model to replace the 900, with similar styling to the 900 but more than 1,000 technical improvements. The new 9-3 sport sedan debuted for 2003 as a 4-door sedan, departing from Saab’s history of hatchback designs and the 9-3 Convertible was added for 2004.
