Short review of BMW 1 Series 2009

Below is the reviews and general specification of BMW 1 Series Coupe. An amazing car by BMW. The 1-Series is BMW’s new 4-seat performance coupe that BMW describes as inspired by the legendary BMW 2002 from the 1960s. The 1-Series features rear-wheel-drive dynamics, agile handling, and powerful engines. The 1-Series convertible followed the early 2008 introduction of the coupe but no plans have been announced to import the 5-door hatchback sold in Europe.

First, the gas mileage improves after the first 2500miles. I am heavy on the gas and get over 28.5mpg consistently on the highway with plenty of accelerations!
Second, the drive and feel of the car is incredible. I have driven so many different fast cars and this car would hold its own in acceleration and handling against the best of them. No car under at this price point or below would be able to outrun you; throw in some curves, and the other car might as well not even try. 0-60 is easy 4.7 sec or faster and the real speed comes at about 3500rpm in 3rd all the way through 6th gear. The car just pulls forever!
Sexy exterior, and for a totally non luxury, sports coupe, the interior is more than good enough.

BMW 1 Series 2009 is a 2-door, 4-passenger luxury sports coupe, or luxury convertible, available in 4 trims, ranging from the 128i Coupe to the 135i Convertible.
The 128i Coupe is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter, I6, 230-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway. The 135i Convertible is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter, I6, 300-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims, and a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.

2009 BMW Touring K 1300 GT overview

BMW K 1300 GTBMW touring motorcycle has become a famous, high performance and high quality motorcycle in the world. Specially designed to fit your needs in riding motor. Introducing BMW K 1300 GT, a touring motor by BMW.

Gran Tourismo - or in the case of the BMW K 1300 GT quite simply one of the fastest movers around. It opens up a new era in the timing of long distances. Nonetheless: impressive though the average travel times may be on this machine, its performance is also fascinating at low speeds, for example after a hairpin bend. This is because at engine speeds you operate in more than 80% of the time on the road – i.e. the lower and middle ranges – this engine adds something you can feel instantly: 99 lb/ft from 1,293 cc. No ifs or buts. And 160 hp for the three-lane motorway. The fact that this in-line 4-cylinder is very low-key when it comes to fuel consumption and exhaust emissions makes fast travel even more pleasing.

The success formula GT is the sum of many intelligent details: top ergonomics - both at front and rear, exemplary aerodynamics and weather protection, safety (ABS as standard, ASC as an option) which sets standards. And a level of comfort which enables relaxed, supreme travel. Then there is a high-precision chassis with a low centre of gravity, as well as optional ESA II to adapt the chassis mode at the press of a button. So here’s a tip: save yourself the effort of looking for an alternative.

BMW Series 3 Convertible Overview

MSRP
$44,550 - $50,700

The 2009 3 Series Convertible is a 2-door, 4-passenger luxury convertible, available in two trims, the 328i and the 335i.

Upon introduction, the 328i is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter, I6, 230-horsepower engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway. The 335i is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter, I6, 300-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims, and a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.

BMW has managed to fit a folding metal roof, add 160 kilos of body stiffening and maintain most of the responsiveness and feel expected of a 3 Series. The suspension is a little softer than the coupe's, which marginally changes the ride-and-handling balance, but not in any seriously detrimental way.
The folding metal roof has to go somewhere when the top's down, and this means rear-seat and boot space are compromised compared with the coupe. Prices are high.

2009 BMW F 800 ST Motorcycle Review and Specification

MSRP $ 10,600
It is an easygoing rider with plenty of power to have fun, perfect for the mid sized rider (your feet touch the ground), get your speed fix, excellent handling, a more upright siting position than sport bikes, heated grips, Anti-Lock brakes (they do make a difference) and a very comfortable ride with stellar handling and balance. This bike will give you the vibes of a Sport bike with the comfort of a Tourer. Low maintenance belt drive is a bonus. Excellent for those of us who are outgrowing the Japanese Sport Bikes and want more quality and a more satisfying riding experience (especially if you are going to hit 5 hour weekend rides through the mountains or deserts of the southwest).

This BIke is not built for the Lap Record and should not be compared to other "sport bikes" that may look similar but are built for speed, not comfort and speed, So if you are looking for the fastest bike, this is not it. Its 85 hp output is plenty of power for most any discriminating rider, unless you are a racer or want to be on the track. This bike will easily cruise at high speeds and tops off in the 124 mph range. Its all electronic with display, mpg, distance til empty, trip meter, temperature, gear, etc. I would highly recommend this motorcycle to anyone , new rider or seasoned.
Engine Specs:
Engine Type Parallel Twin
Cylinders 2
Engine Stroke 4-Stroke
Cooling Liquid

2009 BMW 1 Series Review and Photos

MSRP
$29,400 - $40,150
The 2009 1 Series is a 2-door, 4-passenger luxury sports coupe, or luxury convertible, available in 4 trims, ranging from the 128i Coupe to the 135i Convertible.

Upon introduction, the 128i Coupe is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter, I6, 230-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway.

Purchased the car new with premium and m-sport pkgs along with navigation, comfort access, and smart phone integration. Total price with tax & license was $49.5K which is pretty pricey for a small car; however, all of the electronics work flawlessly and the i-drive menu/button system provides intuitive use. I've had the car for about a month with about 2K miles and can say it is comfortable to drive whether on twisting hills or straight highway miles. Seats are exceptionally comfortable and have multiple adjustment capabilities. Standard transmission works well and I utilize lower gears since the torque/acceleration capability is available from about 1500-5000 rpm. Visibility is excellent with almost no blind spots created by either small windows or pillars. Automatic lights, rain sensor and cruise control all work very well. Took awhile to get accustomed to the comfort access since touching the handle for unlocking/locking not part of my normal habit pattern. Mileage has been 20-22 mpg in the city and about 24-26 on the highway (driving 75-85 mph). I noted another review that got 30 mpg which may be true if you're traveling around 50-55.
