The New Lamborghini Murcielago 2012

Now, just in time for its golden anniversary, Lamborghini is preparing a redesigned replacement for its uplevel supercar, the Murciélago, which has been around since 2002. The new version is expected as a 2012 model arriving in calendar 2011, with the March Geneva Auto Salon in Switzerland rumored as the coming-out venue. Britain's Autocar magazine, citing a company source, says the name will likely be Jota. The late Ferruccio Lamborghini was fond of bullfighting, and most Lamborghini model names have been drawn from that sport (however obscure the connections to non-aficionados).

A speculative computer graphic published by Road & Track suggests the new architecture will also bring markedly altered proportions, with a shorter nose, a longer tail, a definite "cab-forward" profile, and a roof sharply peaked just aft of the windshield. Styling, too, should mark a clean break from today's Murciélago, with a crisp, stealth-fighter look a la the recent limited-edition Murciélago-based Reventon coupe, especially in front. Pivot-up "scissor" doors, a big-Lambo trademark since the Countach, are certain to continue. The added rear body length implies a possible speed-linked motorized spoiler as a new feature. Wheelbase looks to be stretched some 3 inches, judging by R&T's illustration, which would jibe with the magazine's forecast of a roomier cockpit.

The vehicle that was launched at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year is already a collector’s item with only 350 to be manufactured.

‘This is just one of the fantastic vehicles that we will have at next year’s event and access to the Murray Walker Extreme Machines display is included in the price of every Clipsal 500 Adelaide ticket whether it be a corporate, grandstand or a trackside pass’, South Australian Chief Executive Jason Allen said today.

‘We have an international car show that is worth the value of admission alone, but of course Clipsal 500 Adelaide patrons get to see all the V8 Supercar racing, our fantastic feature race program and the four nights of concerts plus the Stratco SAFM Skyshow that is a fireworks extravaganza choreographed to music ’, he added.

The Murray Walker Extreme Machines will be demonstrated on the circuit each day of the event in addition to being on display in a special facility located inside gate 1 off Halifax Street.

2010 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera Unveiled Design

The LP570-4 Superleggera is the latest variant of the Lamborghini Gallardo which is scheduled to be unveiled at the upcoming 2010 Geneva Auto Show.

The rendering, we are informed by our esteemed and trusted colleagues over at Teamspeed.com, is based on reliable info of what the Superleggera will actually look like once it makes it debut at the Geneva auto show in March. Lamborghini is on the verge of rolling out a whole new line-up. If the Estoque gets the green light, it will be the first. The reveal of the replacement for the Murcielago is imminent, and I'm pretty sure that it has been confirmed that a new Gallardo is coming as well. I'm predicting that by the summer of this year, Lamborghini's future will be open to the world. You can hold me to it.

Lamborghini Reventon, combination F1 and War Plane

Lamborghini Reventon 2010 3Lamborghini, italian company has just introduced its supersportcar, Reventon Roadster. This sedan was inspired by aerocraft and Formula 1. This super car only produced 20 units in Bologna factory.

This Reventon is more like a F15 used by NATO. This car is equipped with unique door and wide side skirt. The grey color called Reventon Grey makes this car looks “sangar”.

Lamborghini Reventon is 4.7 m long, 2.1 m wide and 1.1 m high. This car is using adjustable air suspension, so you can adjust 40 mm of its height when the road is not good. Combination between Carbon fiber and steel makes this car lightweight. With the total weight only 1690 kg.

Lamborghini Reventon is powered by 6500 cc 48 valve  V12 engine that can produce 670 horsepower in 8000 rpm. To reach from 0-100 km/h this Lambo only needs 3.4    seconds with maximum speed at 330 km/h.

Lamborghini Gallardo 2009 overview and photos

Lamborghini is producer of high quality cars. Introducing Lamborghini Gallardo 2009, the combination between style and performance. MSRP: $198,000 - $198,000

The 2009 Gallardo’s cabin sports “a purposeful cabin that can be outfitted with leather, Alcantara or carbon-fiber accents,” Popular Mechanics says. “The familiar Audi-sourced nav system and A/C controls are easy to use, and the tach's 8500 rpm redline is one of the few clues to the outrageous side of this Lambo's personality.”

The newest Gallardo is “a much more vicious machine,” Motor Authority thinks. It’s about 52 pounds lighter than the previous Gallardo, and with better aerodynamics, it’s “a far more formidable track weapon than the standard Gallardo,” they observe. Its chief weapon, though, is obviously its 5.2-liter V-10 engine. The changes for 2009 result “in a significant spike in output to 552 horsepower at 8000 rpm (from 512) and 398 pound-feet of torque (from 376),” Car and Driver reports. Named for its European power output (560 PS, the equivalent of those 552 hp) and its four-wheel-drive powertrain, the LP560-4 can catapult to 62 mph “in 3.7 seconds,” Motor Authority adds, and reach a top speed of more than 200 mph, Lamborghini claims. At speed, “the engine emits a deep bellow when pushed, and is most brutal in the lower end of the rev-range where it seems to summon the most force.”
